Water is Life!
Millions of people have no access to safe drinking water. Water treatment is the only way to fight global water scarcity and safeguard the future, bearing in mind that the world population is expected to be in excess of 9 billion by 2050.
This training course will focus on the main techniques and technologies used in water and wastewater treatment nowadays and highlight the advantages and disadvantages of each method. Particular emphasis will be given on the applicability of the different methods and/or combination of them to different scenaria, taking into account health and safety, financial and regulatory conformity considerations.
At the same time, valuable knowledge in relation to water testing and interpretation of results will be acquired.
